Synopsis

Lurk is a Malayalam action thriller set against the backdrop of Kerala’s forest regions, where recurring human-wildlife conflicts threaten the lives of people living on the fringes of protected areas. Directed by M. A. Nishad and scripted by Nishad and Jubin Jacob, the film stars Saiju Kurup, Aju Varghese, Anumol, Manju Pillai, T. G. Ravi and others in key roles. The story explores survival, revenge, and the uneasy relationship between humans and wildlife, while questioning who the real predator is. Saiju Kurup anchors the narrative with a grounded performance, while the forest setting and atmospheric treatment add to the sense of danger.
